Starter motor. Yesterday morning i took the van for its yearly, passed and pulled itoutside so as to go back in and pay. Went back to van and it wouldn't start ! At all ! Anyway, after 4 hrs of ripping everything apart, i gave up and mr RAC fella came and clunked the starter motor with a big lump of wood.Ignition!!!! Advice was that a little oil leak had got into the starter motor, and to either get an overhaul done, or try to get a new one. Are they easy enough to find new? Also, will Bedford Blitz ( qs0310 ) fit the cf 250 ? ---------------------- | Fri 19 Oct 2012 @ 09:01 |

Drama over Luck was in today, speaking to a spark about getting the van re-wired, and he happened to have a brand new,25 yr old , starter motor !!! How about that then ? and for 50 nicker too . Just spent the best part of 1 and a half hours trying to fit it,in the dark, with my daughter being light lady. Struggle, but cranked up first time. purrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Hapy daze. ---------------------- | Tue 23 Oct 2012 @ 20:29 |
