I don't see that it would hurt other than increasing your weight, therefore your fuel consumption. What particular benefit do you expect from it though? ---------------------- | Sat 17 May 2014 @ 19:30

Rear leaf suspention If you put more leafs you will loose your suspention .there is an assistor that can be purchased.I think Colin could advise you on that.Cheers+Beers,Jim.---------------------- | Sat 17 May 2014 @ 20:07

rear suspension I thought that I may have the wrong susp. on my motor and that fitted a stronger pair may save me from putting spring assiosters on, also it would be cheaper. I am having a gas conversion put on in june with the tank being where the spare wheel used to sit causing more weight at the back. so stronger suspension would help, so I thought | Sun 18 May 2014 @ 09:10

Rear suspention If the total weight is found the leaf spring maker could work out the proper amount of leaves tou need.Their are other people on the net that are more experience than I with suspention.Cheers+Beers,Jim---------------------- | Sun 18 May 2014 @ 20:30

rear sosp thanks mate but I have just ordered 4 bolts from a firm called UKA aftermarket. he's making them for me at £17.50 each. thanks again, maybe you can help with my other query. I wanted a pair of rear shocks and every advert said it would fit upto 35cwt cf. but when I mentioned that my cf Is 3.5ton they told me that the heaviest cf was a 35cwt. is that right? | Wed 11 Jun 2014 @ 13:29
